At a time when my heart was breaking; I found peace in sounds that have since lead me to begin this practice.
After several years of enjoying it and its benefits as a participant at numerous soundbaths over many years, an opportunity to study this fascinating modality of wellness arose in the fall of 2024.
It was the tail end of the intense portion of the mourning period following the loss of my mother the year before. I had been in a holding pattern for a while and was ready for something to shake me loose. So, I jumped in wholeheartedly.
The decision was completely, well, heartfelt and sound. Thus the name and thus the guide for how I craft my soundscapes and individual sessions.
I am a newly certified sound practitioner, however, I am far from new to alternative therapies, of which I have actively been investigating and consuming for over 40 years, arising from an unfortunate (literal) run-in with a pick-up truck at 19. I was walking, and the driver had been drinking (a lot), and long story short, it could have very easily been a much shorter ending for my life.
That said, what we now call "wellness and well-being" had also been a big part of my life even earlier as an all-around highly competitive student athlete. Over the decades, the specifics of the modalities may have changed, however, my interest in personal sustainability never did.
Sound therapy has been proven to improve mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Not by magic, although it can feel like that. It is backed by science from studies conducted around the world.
In my practice, I use a variety of sound techniques to help you achieve balance and harmony from singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, drums, and more.
I can offer open and private sessions for individuals, groups, organizations, events, or play for your special occasion on my own or in collaboration with others.
I have a passion for exploring new, impactful ways to share the modality and expand its reach. So, if you are interested in innovation, then please reach out.

"We were visiting beautiful Copenhagen for my sister’s wedding. It was perfect. I was able to stay a few days longer for some rest and relaxation. Lori came to our Airbnb carrying her heavy singing bowls up the 5 flights of stairs! She created a comfortable place on the floor for me to lay on my back. She placed bowls around me and on me and proceeded to create musical vibrations that led me into a deep, relaxed state. I let go of all thoughts and felt love and connection to all sentient beings. It was a very uplifting and grounding experience for me. I highly recommend Lori and her singing bowls. ♥️ "

"A Unique Experience
I approached attending a sound bath organized by Heartfelt Sound with a hint of skepticism… “At the very least, I can just relax for an hour,” I thought. But I was quickly drawn into the truly unique universe that enveloped me during the session. The sounds seemed to massage both body and soul in a truly incredible way—gentle yet intense at the same time.
The soothing and powerful sounds calmed my thoughts and reached deep into my soul.
It offers an opportunity for deep reflection, healing, and relaxation. Whether you need focused meditation or simply a break from everyday life, I can wholeheartedly recommend this absolutely wonderful experience and the excellent guidance provided by Lori Webb and Heartfelt Sound."
